The world of work is being reshaped before our eyes.

Artificial intelligence is accelerating change. Markets are becoming more volatile. Employee expectations are evolving. Organisations are being challenged to transform continuously while maintaining performance, resilience and purpose.
In this environment, change leadership can no longer rely solely on plans, templates and implementation roadmaps.

The leaders who will thrive are those who can navigate uncertainty, make sense of complexity and create momentum when the path forward is not yet clear.

The ACMP Tri Chapter International Conference brings together leading voices from Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore to explore one of the most important questions facing organisations today:

What must change leadership become in a world that refuses to stand still?
It is an opportunity to challenge assumptions, discover new perspectives and gain practical insights that will help you lead transformation with greater confidence, clarity and impact.

Why It Matters
Today’s organisations are operating in an environment unlike any before.
Change professionals are being asked to lead through disruption, transformation fatigue, economic uncertainty, workforce shifts, technological acceleration and increasing demands for measurable outcomes.
The traditional approaches that served organisations well in the past are being tested by a future that is more interconnected, unpredictable and complex.

Success now requires leaders who can:

  • Think systemically in complex environments.
  • Unlock human potential as a driver of performance.
  • Build resilience in the face of uncertainty.
  • Transform risk into strategic opportunity.
  • Create adaptive organisations capable of continuous evolution.

This conference is designed for professionals who are ready to move beyond managing change and begin shaping the future of transformation itself.

Dr Aiden M. A. Thornton

What if organisations cannot be understood through simple cause and effect relationships?
What if change emerges through thousands of interconnected interactions rather than carefully controlled plans?

Drawing on extensive international experience and deep academic expertise, he challenges traditional assumptions and introduces a more adaptive and systemic approach to leading transformation.
Participants will discover how organisations function as complex adaptive systems and how leaders can influence outcomes in environments where certainty is increasingly scarce.
This session will help participants strengthen systems thinking, improve organisational influence and lead more effectively in a rapidly changing world.
