Dear All,
We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our esteemed panelists, organizing committee and to everyone who participated in our 2024 inaugural event in late March! The event attracted dedicated change professionals who engaged in an enriching panel discussion, moderated by Tim Wieringa.
🔹 The esteemed panel comprised influential changemakers in their respective fields:
– Betul Genc, SVP and Head of Asean, The Adecco Group
– Zijun (Lynn) Pang, Head of Consulting, The Arbinger Institute (SG/MY)
– Steven Marangos, Regional Director, ASCC Group of Companies
Event Highlights:
🔸 Equitable Representation: Steven Marangos’ analogy of the stained-glass window highlighted the importance of every individual’s contribution. Betul Genc initiated the conversation on equitable representation of minorities, a crucial goal. Zijun (Lynn) Pang further emphasized the importance of meritocracy in this context.
🔸 Purpose-Driven Work: We explored creating an authentic, diverse, and safe workplace. The challenge is to embed a sense of purpose within companies for long-term sustainability.
🔸 DEI Implementation: Effective change management practices are crucial for fostering a genuine sense of belonging, going beyond diversity quotas to truly unlock potential.
🔸 Conclusion: The DEI framework is instrumental in societal evolution. It’s imperative to guard against misinterpretation and misoperation, preserving its core values.
